At TLEC we will do whatever we can to meet the needs of you and your horse. Feel free to visit our facility, tour the grounds, and meet the staff. We accept all horses of all breeds and riders of every discipline. There are no hidden fees at TLEC and we do our best to suit the needs of your horse for turnout, feeding schedules, and extra care. Special needs horses are welcome!.
TLEC wants you to get the most our of your riding lessons. That is why we have several different packages available and why we also offer credits towards shows and clinics. Also, all students can use the clubhouse and rent it for a reduced rate. Packages are paid on either the 1st or the 15th of each month, or payment may be divided between these two dates. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or the lesson will not be made up. Only exceptions are sickness. Make up lessons must be made with in 14 days or the lesson will be lost. Immediate family can share packages.
For those wishing to purchase individual lessons at TLEC we offer 1 hour private sessions for $65. However, our membership packages do include an assessment lesson to determine the riders skill and comfort level.
Beginner’s Package $150 for 6 private lessons that are a half hour each.
Part time package $165 per month includes every other week 1 hour lessons.
Full Time Package $225 for the month for one hour lesson every week (If you wish to add additional lesson to the full time package you get a discounted rate per additional lesson).
All boarders can purchase lessons for a discounted rate.
Each family, regardless of number of riders will pay a $25/mo membership fee (included in the prices listed above). Each family will also receive a $25 credit to use on any horse show or clinic offered or attend by TLEC This money goes to support the farm ( we get no public or grant funding) and will cover member use of the clubhouse for private events, extra events put on by TLEC, barn bashes, and all of the free entertainment provided by the chickens and goats, etc.
Leasing horse time is a great option for those who don’t want the full financial responsibility of buying or leasing a horse. When you lease extra ride time at TLEC, your price includes weekly hour lessons and 2 hours extra a week to ride any lesson horse you choose. We have a variety of horses and ponies to chose from for all ages and levels of riding.
Leasing Riding Time is $375 and includes:
One lesson per week
Two hours of open arena time EACH WEEK with your horse or any lesson horse to practice what you have learned in lessons (with instructor approval of safety skills and ability to tack and handle horse independently)
First choice on horses for shows and clinics!!!!

You and your horse are family at TLEC! The care of your horse is always on our mind. This is why you can request certain types of feed that are best for your horse and we will do our best to accommodate you. Currently we feed Triple Crown feeds and a fescue mix hay. There are no hidden fees in our board! We worm your horse, hold your horse for the farrier and vet, blanket, and fly spray for NO ADDITIONAL COST. As a boarder you get lessons cheaper and have the advantage of not going off the property to show in our barn shows and ride/audit in our clinics that we host. We also will do our best to suit the needs of your horse when it comes to turnout. All of our turnout areas have safe board fencing and plenty of shade! Our arenas are drug everyday and we have jumps, dressage letters, or barrels for your training needs. Our clubhouse includes Direct TV, wireless Internet, clean bathrooms, and a full kitchen. We want you and your horse to be relaxed and happy here at TLEC!
The Reins of Change program is designed to address emotionally and mentally challenged children, adolescents and their families. This project will impact children and adolescents in the following ways:
Gives children and adolescents an alternative outlet for emotional growth and learning that allows them to be both mentally and physically involved in their own healing process.
Provides an environment of hope and healing that is both safe and accepting for emotionally distraught children and adolescents, as well as children and adolescents from unfortunate circumstances, to work through issues that may be disruptive in every day life activities.
Offers opportunities for children to develop their own tools for effective communication, confidence and creative problem solving as they face life obstacles.
